But before you spend $100+ on two towels, you should know exactly what you're buying, because it isn't cotton terry, and it definitely isn't Egyptian cotton.

I really wanted to love my Cozy Earth towels. They're unbelievably soft, no question. But after a shower they feel kind of damp and never quite dry me off the way my old terry towels did. They disclose it correctly, so it's not a scam. But viscose feels silky and tends to break down faster than dense cotton terry. If you want long-staple cotton AND plush, you want high-GSM Egyptian terry, not a bamboo blend. Different products entirely.
The drying time is the dealbreaker for me. I'm in Miami and my 800 GSM Ribbed Terry ones literally still feel damp the next morning. Mildew smell within a week if I'm not careful. They're gorgeous and soft but completely wrong for a humid climate. Switched my main bath to Kemet Egyptian cotton and the difference in drying is huge.
Can confirm the humidity issue. Bamboo viscose holds water beautifully, which is also why it won't let go of it. Great for absorbency numbers on paper, bad for actually drying between showers.
