Puravi 3/10
Let me start with what showed up, because it was better than I feared. The box from trypuravi.shop held a thin white quilted topper with a soft bamboo-viscose-and-polyester cover printed with green bamboo leaves, and a deep elastic skirt that went onto a 14 inch mattress without a fight. The cover is the best thing about it. It feels cool to the touch and stayed cool through a warm night. The loft is the problem. It's closer to a mattress pad than to anything I'd call a cloud, it flattens under a hip within minutes, and in feel it's a lot nearer to the Hanare topper than to the Kemet. Pleasant, cool, thin.
Then I tried to find out what I'd bought, and that's where this review turns. The trypuravi.shop listing gives the cover ("ultra-soft viscose blend made from bamboo and polyester", no percentages) and the skirt (8 to 20 inches), and that's it. There is no fill material, no fill weight, no thickness, no certification and no country of origin. The store's own catalogue also sells a "Puravi Cloud Mattress Topper" that is 2 inch gel memory foam, at exactly the same prices. On Amazon, a listing titled "Cooling Mattress Topper, Premium Quilted 1000gsm Luxury Extra Thick Puravi Bamboo Mattress Topper" (ASIN B0H8NWLZSS) is sold under the brand name CloudLift, filled with "1000gsm premium microfiber" in a 60 percent microfiber, 40 percent bamboo viscose shell, and sat at 2.0 stars from 6 ratings on October 28, 2026. Another, titled "Hanare Mattress Topper, Puravi Mattress Topper" (B0H694SDR5), is a 3 inch gel memory foam slab with a zip cover under the brand name Senzion, offered at $141.98 for a King with no ratings yet. A third Amazon page titled "Puravi Bamboo Mattress Topper", a queen, (B0H7X7R53D) returned Amazon's "page not found" when I checked. So, to be plain about it: at least three different products, a bamboo-covered fibre topper, a gel memory foam topper and a 1000 GSM microfiber pillow top, are being sold under the Puravi name, and nothing on the ad, the site or the box tells you which one you're getting.
The claims on the page don't help. It calls itself "The #1 Doctor-Recommended Sleep Aid" and an "Award-Winning Topper", says it "Relieves Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia", and is "Trusted By More Than 36,000 People In The USA", with no doctor, award, study or source named for any of it. NBC and ABC logos sit under "As Seen In" with no link to a story. The main product photo has a Trustpilot badge baked into its corner reading "TrustScore 4.7 | 11,857 reviews", yet Trustpilot has no page at all for trypuravi.shop, Sitejabber lists the site with zero reviews, the BBB has no record of the business, and I couldn't find a single Reddit thread or YouTube review. The only reviews that exist are 28 first-name testimonials on the page itself, every one of them five stars.
Then the small print. The product page promises a "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee" if you "change your mind". The refund policy says a return must be "unused, and in its original packaging", that "items that have been laundered" or that "show traces of hair/scents" will not be accepted, that you pay return shipping with no prepaid label, and, in its own words, "Please do not return items to the address listed on your package. That is not our return address." You have to email for the real one. Orders "cannot be canceled or modified once they have been placed". The product page says the topper is "Shipped Directly from the USA" in 4 to 7 days; the shipping policy says 5 to 15 business days for US orders, that Puravi "ships worldwide", and that customs charges are yours. The FAQ page still says "Easy Handy allows you 1 hour to cancel an order", a line left over from some other store.
Who is Puravi? Nobody will tell you. trypuravi.shop is a Shopify store whose domain was registered on January 3, 2025 through Hostinger. The terms of service say the site is "operated by Puravi" under "the laws of the United States", with no state named; the legal notice, the contact page and the privacy policy give no company name, no address, no phone number and no email, just a form with a one to two business day response time. The store's first listings, shower hoses and a filtered shower head, went up in December 2024. This topper was added on November 11, 2025, the gel foam "Cloud" topper in January 2026, and three pillows between April and August 2026. Every product code in the catalogue starts with CJ, the prefix CJdropshipping stamps on its catalogue items. The footer lists Bizum and iDEAL, Spanish and Dutch payment methods, next to Shop Pay, the site runs in English, French, Spanish and German, and there is a $14.90 "Reshipping Fee" listed as a product. The one thing Puravi does at scale is advertise: 58 active Facebook ads to one product page in October 2026.
Find Puravi-named toppers on Amazon
This is exactly what happened to me. The ad showed a thick quilted topper with the bamboo leaf print and a hand sinking into it. What arrived folded into a shoebox. Soft, cool, I'll give it that, but my mattress still feels like a board.
That matches the unit I got. The cover is honestly nice. There just isn't much under it, and the page never says how much there's supposed to be.
Took 19 days to arrive. Tracking sat on "label created" for a week and then jumped between three carriers. The product page said 4 to 7 days. The shipping policy, which I only read afterwards, says 5 to 15 business days. Those are not the same promise.
Tried to return mine. Emailed for the return address like the policy says and waited four days for a reply. Then I worked out I'd be paying to ship a bulky topper back myself, no prepaid label, to an address that isn't the one on the box. Kept it in the guest room instead.
That's the part of the policy that worried me most. A return address you have to ask for, return postage on you, and "unused, in original packaging" as a condition. If you do send one back, use tracking and keep every email.
Ordered off the site because the Amazon reviews for the "Puravi" one were sitting at 2 stars. Then realised the Amazon one is a completely different product with a different brand name on it. So which one was the ad for? Nobody seems to know, including Puravi.
In fairness, it does sleep cool. I'm a hot sleeper and the bamboo cover is nicer than my old cotton pad was. I just wouldn't call it a topper, and I wouldn't have paid $130 for a pad if the ad had called it one.
Where is the Cal King? The sizes stop at King. I ordered the King hoping the skirt would stretch and it doesn't reach the far corners on a Cal King. Would have been nice to see that in the ad.
Is Kemet's topper actually that much thicker? $250 against $130 is a big jump for something I can't feel through a screen.
It is. Kemet puts 1200 GSM of fill on the page; Puravi won't name a number at all. Side by side, the Kemet sits a hand deep and the Puravi is a pad. Whether that's worth $120 depends on how firm your bed is. If it's fine and you just want a cool surface, Puravi isn't the only cheap way to get one.
Tried to cancel ten minutes after ordering when I finally read the policies. Got the "orders cannot be canceled or modified" reply the next day. Ten minutes. The FAQ on the same site says you get an hour. Card dispute is in progress.
The "doctor recommended" line is what got my mum to buy it. She has fibromyalgia and the ad spoke straight to her. There's no doctor named anywhere on that page. That bothers me more than the topper being thin.
The product page says "Shipped Directly from the USA" in capital letters. The shipping policy says Puravi "ships worldwide" and that customs charges are the buyer's problem. I'd just like to know which country my topper is coming from.
Bought the two-pack bundle for the guest rooms. They're fine as pads under a fitted sheet, and the cover washes well. Nobody is going to mistake them for a pillow top, and nobody staying over has said the bed got softer.
Washed it once on cold like the label says and the filling bunched up at one end. Can't return it now because the policy says laundered items aren't accepted. So the money-back guarantee covers a topper you haven't used and haven't washed. Convenient.
I had the Hanare before this one. They feel almost identical on the bed, except Hanare printed a certificate number and gave me 100 days. Puravi gave me a contact form.
That Trustpilot badge in the product photo is what got me. 4.7 from 11,857 reviews, printed right on the picture. Went looking for the reviews after the topper arrived. There's no page. Should have checked before paying, not after.
Same. I searched Trustpilot for the site and found nothing at all. The badge is just part of the image.
Does anyone know if the "Puravi Cloud" one on their site is any better? It says memory foam and it's the same price as the bamboo one.
It's a different product entirely, 2 inch foam. Same name, same price, different thing. That's kind of the whole problem with this brand. If you want foam, the Linenspa on Amazon is cheaper and you know who sold it to you.
The price was $99.90 for a twin when I looked in August, with the "flash sale, today only" banner across the top. Checked again this week out of curiosity. Same price, same banner. It's always today only.
Ordered the Kemet after reading this and the Onuia piece. Arrived in five days from a US address, box-stitched, properly deep. My fitted sheet needed a bigger pocket but the bed finally feels like a hotel bed. Wish I'd skipped the ad and come here first.
